The awe-inspiring Eden Project is within easy reach and you can easily spend the day exploring the two domes as well as the rest of the gardens. The beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan has walled, Japanese and Italian gardens. There is a host of other wonderful gardens that will inspire you such as Trevarno, The Garden House, Trebah, Caerhays, Glendurga and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden to name but a few. Amongst the National Trust properties are enchanting Cotehele, impressive Lanhydrock and historic Antony (used for the film ‘Alice In Wonderland’). There are five castles in the English Heritage collection; Launceston, Restormel,Pendennis, St Mawes and the most famous of all, Tintagel.
